Getting started is easy and you don’t need to be a member of the IET!

  • Sign up for an account (if you don’t have one already) and log in.
  • Tell the community more about yourself by filling in your profile and select the technical topics you’re interested in. We’ll make sure it’s easy for you to see content that may interest you and if your interests change, simply update them in your profile.
  • Log in to access your personal EngX homepage where you’ll find an activity feed of content from around the EngX community related to your interests; questions, answers and discussions in the forums, articles from E&T magazine and posts from our community bloggers. On your personal homepage you’ll also find IET events in your local area as well as those associated with your technical interests
  • Looking for a new job? We’ll show you vacancies from E&T Jobs relevant to your interests too!
  • Ask questions and start discussions in our forums, comment on blog posts and search for and connect with other like-minded engineers in our Meet and Connect directory
  • Don’t forget to subscribe to our daily or weekly digest and we’ll email you with new content related to your technical interests.
