DIN rail kWh meters

This is an extension of the consumer unit question

http://communities.theiet.org/discussions/viewtopic/348/22833

Has anybody any experience of DIN rail mounting kWh meters that can be installed in a consumer unit? They are an uncommon feature in most homes but they can be incredibly useful devices as they enable electricity consumption to be identified on a circuit by circuit basis. This provides much useful information on which appliances are and are not consuming a significant amount of electricity therefore helping to identify where potential savings can be made. More cynically, they could help reduce disputes in families who is responsible for big electric bills.

I am aware that these meters are available in both MID approved and non-approved versions although MID approval is not required for in-home only use. Some meters are available with a MODBUS output.
