More increases in electricity bills?

"Analysts told the BBC that local distributors and suppliers are moving charges which were once part of a consumer's unit price for energy (which now has a tight upper limit on it) over to their standing charge. They are also increasing standing charges to the maximum level for each region, which means a big jump for some places."

    We probably need a mix to be self sufficient.

    The energy policy mistakes were made decade's ago. Driven by Green fanatics. Now the *** has hit the fan common sense energy policy will kick in, hopefully. Yes there is room for all types of generation but at a common sense price.

    I doubt anything sensible will happen, I wait to be surprised.
