I'm a chartered engineer with a good deal of experience in the M&E world, looking to break into contract M&E asset surveying.
Many of my roles have intrinsically had quite a large element of attending site (up and down the country) in various settings, undertaking site surveys, usually within the M&E and plant room environment for UPS, Genies etc.
The only issue is that while I possess a good deal of M&E knowledge having worked within the FM, data centre and more plant rooms than I can mention, I cant put ‘formal’ asset verification on the CV. I've spoken with a couple of agencies that seemed positive, but nothing as of yet.
I could really do with some assistance in getting up to speed but it looks increasingly like I need either an independent M&E asset surveyor or company to assist me with the transition.
I'm currently based in Monmouth so well placed for Wales, the West & Midlands, but will travel if required.
If anyone can assist or knows someone or a company that would assist, I'd be extremely grateful.
