I know most of the shops are now closed BUT, I need some sky hooks and green and yellow paint... I don't mind paying a bit more for these item's so... any ideas, please!?
I heard once about a fitter who sent his apprentice to the store for a glass hammer. The storeman said, "I'm out of stock of those at the moment but I'll try to get one for Monday." The apprentice went back on Monday and was issued with a glass hammer, which he duly presented to the somewhat-amazed fitter.
(The storeman had a friend who was a glass blower.)
BTW, glass hammers do exist ! They are used to free glass stoppers in glass bottles when these have become stuck or seized. Especially if the contents of the bottle are very valuable (expensive perfume) or dangerous (some lab chemicals)
I think that the mythical "Sky Hook" has been around so long now that no doubt there are actually some things that are really called sky hooks these days.

I actually worked with someone called 'Biggus Dickus', (OR, something VERY close to that... oh, and sorry Lisa... it was Ebbe's fault that this name has been repeated! ?).
