I always like maths and physics in school so decided to study Electrical and Electronic Engineering in university. After university I decided to work in the energy field, moving from oil and gas to more of sustainable focused roles. Quite unusual I'm sure but I think my previous energy roles have really given me a good background in my sustainability role.
My current role takes into account all of the other learnings from electricity transmission and generation because these are big strands of a lot of net zero roadmaps!
