How did you get into engineering and the subject of Net Zero?

We've had our first question for Erusa Slight smile

How did you get into engineering and specifically into the area of sustainability and the challenge of Net Zero?

  • I always like maths and physics in school so decided to study Electrical and Electronic Engineering in university.  After university I decided to work in the energy field, moving from oil and gas to more of sustainable focused roles.  Quite unusual I'm sure but I think my previous energy roles have really given me a good background in my sustainability role.

My current role takes into account all of the other learnings from electricity transmission and generation because these are big strands of a lot of net zero roadmaps!
