Based at the tech giant’s offices in Paddington, the new Microsoft AI Hub will recruit an AI team focused on product development and research.
Microsoft is clearly keen to drive the UK’s AI sector. Towards the end of last year it announced plans to invest £2.5bn in the country over the next three years to help upskill the UK workforce for the AI era, build the infrastructure to power the AI economy and bring 20,000 of the most advanced GPUs to the country by 2026.
Now, having recently created a new organisation – Microsoft AI – to help advance the company’s AI products and research, the tech giant has revealed it will base Microsoft AI London out of its offices in Paddington.
