Lavoie, a micro-mobility subsidiary of McLaren Applied, has launched its Series 1 electric scooter featuring technology developed for McLaren’s Formula 1 cars.
The new e-scooter features the start-up’s patented one-touch Flowfold system, which helps fold the front and rear wheel hinges and collapses the stem of the scooter with just a single press of a button: this is inspired by the suspension system found on racing vehicles at the pinnacle of motorsport. The feature also helps achieve the greatest possible reduction in size while maintaining a large and stable deck when in use.
