  • Certainly any organisation that handles data must take care that the risk of data corruption either by accident or design is minimised. The danger is that sometimes, in a misguided attempt the make the system more secure, the system becomes difficult or cumbersome to use by legitimate users. In this case users are liable to try to by-pass inconvenient secuirty features or simply not use the system at all! If that happens the whole purpose of the security features becomes null and void. There will be no security.
