Verification of Eng Tech application

Hi,

I have completed my application for Eng Tech Status but am now stuck on the verification part.

My mandatory verifier - Line boss = fine

My additional verifier - Previous boss = fine

But neither is Ceng Eng Tech etc. My additional verifier is a member of the institute of sound and communication engineers (tech status) is this a suitable alternative as I do not know any MIET with Eng status personally.

Lisa Miles‍ - thanks for moving this, may not have seen it otherwise.

Lee - Your Line Manager will be sufficient - if you don't have a verifier that is professionally registered or a member, this is not mandatory as we appreciate that not everyone will have access to members or registered members - as long as the line manager is able to verify the work you are doing, that will be enough.

If you have completed the rest of the application I would recommend submitting this through to us so that we can begin the assessment.

Thank you for your reply, that is great to hear.

I will ask my employer to pay the membership fee and submit my application ASAP..
