can a C.Eng. be a notary public and authenticate documents

    I am already a C.Eng., MIEE, and have been since the last 40 years.

    The UK govt. should announce this within the www.Gov.UK website that chartered engineers are also allowed/eligible to be a notary public.

    This way, the public at large would know this fact.
