Tell everybody, who you are, what you do, who you would like to connect with and why you joined IET Professional Development, on the My Community platform - what are you hoping to get out of it?

This is a great way to learn more about others and extend your professional network.

  • Hello my dear friend,

firstly it is important for me to let you know as far as I know that you have a B.Sc.

Second, I recently received my appreciation and am carrying a rich 30-year experience (from the age of 18). My bachelor's degree is in Automotive Specialization (B.Sc). The tip I can give you as I initially explained to you (experience and letters of bachelor's or master's degree).

Good luck later in the process

Hello sir,  for me as your audience ..i don't understand what context you have delivered.... You said you received appreciation, 30 years working experiences, Bachelor  ..then you tell us that you have thought that we are all degree holder... is it part of "introduce yourself "?
  • Dear Mr. JILAN ANAK GAWING,

YES. You need to have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Of course, an important experience is that you will simply log onto the IET site and see threshold requirements. I cited an example myself so I wrote down my experience and bachelor's degree (B.Sc), and only now got my appreciation for "CEng"

    Good Day Everyone,

Am happy to be welcomed here. I am a Civil/Structural Engineer with about 12 years of experiences in civil construction, highway and structural designing, consultancy supervision, project planning and management. I have an honorary bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a master's degree in Structural Engineering and will in 2020 be going further for another Masters degree in Project Management if my submitted applications are considered. Currently, I work as the head the engineering design department of a reputable organisation and a member of the IET seeking for CEng professional registration. I honestly will appreciate any kind assistance in making a successful application for CEng registration.

    Thank you all.
