CEng - Additional Evidence required

Question

Hello great people, 
 I had submitted my application to the IET for CEng, but they are asking me for additional information. They need to know the answers for the following questions which I am unable to understand. Please help me to crack these questions under Underpinning knowledge and understanding. Please note that I have seen similar questions in the IET Guidance Notes for Applicants applying for IEng/CEng Professional Registration. 
 UK&U Evidence Statement 
 1) Describe the situation in which you were allocated responsibility for technical/ engineering decisions 
 2) Describe how you presented technical information e.g. plans and diagrams for review by other engineers in your field 
 3) Explain how you carried out a technical investigation, including the gathering of data, identification of sources; and explain the results of the investigation and how you ensured the quality of data that was used 
 4) Describe how you derived and presented the results of your investigations: for instance, describe how you used calculations, simulations, prototypes and/or engineering software to guide your technical/ engineering decisions. Explain the limitations of the techniques you used 
 5) Give a brief reasoned justification for your technical/ engineering decisions 
 6) Summarise the outcome of the project(s) and indicate how technological changes would affect your methods and/or decisions 
 Evidence Statement 
 Competence: A. Knowledge and Understanding 
 Competence: B. Design, development and solving engineering problems 
 
 Will be glad to get some comprehensive advice. 
 
 For me, the question no 01 seems similar to question no 05. Question no. 3 and 4 are also quite similar. I am unable to understand it. Why same type of question being asked twice. Before that, I inserted different project situations in all these questions but still not accepted by the IET team. 
 
 Anyone please help to explain the above questions.

Q1 requires you to describe the setting. Were you in say a maintenance team? or did you have design roles etc. So what was the role you were doing at the time and why were you able to do this activity you are abotu to describe. 
 Q5 is about the outcome of the investigation or project you are describing. Say analysing a problem, seeking a technical solution etc.

Q1 and Q5 are completely different. Q4 follows on from Q3, and Q5 follows on from Q4. 
 
 What was your job role (within a project) when you needed to make some engineering decisions? 
 How did you consult with other engineers on the project? 
 What investigations did you carry out? 
 How did you present the results of those investigations to the stakeholders? 
 Why did you make the recommendations that you did? 
 As the project has gone on, how has it progressed, and what have you learned about the decisions you made? 
 
 To be honest, if you have actually done all the things that a CEng should have done in their career, then you should be able to answer all of those questions.
