Basically, you will need to;

1. Check your academic qualifications,

2. Prepare your CEng application using the IET’s Career Manager, and

3. Follow the step-by-step guidance provided within IET’s Career Manager.

Make sure you understand the UK-SPEC competencies and clearly demonstrate how you meet them in your Statement of Competence.

A really good document to accompany UKSPEC is this comparison document. Lots of examples of how you might demonstrate the required competencies. There are off course other options as the list is not exhaustive.
