Sorry to hear of your experience Robin, but absolutely you're doing the best thing by asking: that's what we're here for to guide you through the process, as it's not obvious the first time you do it what's needed - and of course many or most applicants hope to only have to do it once! I'm sure rssu will be able to find you another one. Unfortunately as we PRAs are all volunteers there are times when we are not available for many reasons, and whilst the IET staff do their best to keep the systems up to date with the availability of PRAs it must be like herding cats.

Incidentally, hopefully when you do get to talk to PRA you'll find that the process is much easier than you think it is, basically it is just five pages of description of what you are technically responsible for, how (briefly) you gained the knowledge and experience to have that responsibility, and (again briefly) how you go about exercising those responsibilities. This is what we do as PRAs - help explain what the "exam question" actually is, and help you answer it for your specific experience.
