UK-SPEC: Do We Need to Cover All Evidence Examples?

Hi All,

The UK-SPEC outlines 5 main competencies (A, B, C, D, and E) and 17 sub-competencies. For each sub-competency, the UK-SPEC provides several examples of evidence — for instance, sub-competency B1 lists 6 examples, while B2 lists 5 examples.

My question is: when writing a competency-based report, are we expected to address all the examples of evidence under each sub-competency, or is it acceptable to select just 1 or 2 examples that best demonstrate our experience?

I’d appreciate clarification on this and would be interested to hear your views.

  • 1 or 2 is fine. you can offer course use  other examples in a similar vein.
