I am reaching out to ask if others have experienced long delays in scheduling their IET Fellow interview. I submitted my application in the beginning of May 2025, and the last update I received was in July, indicating that an interview would be arranged. However, I haven’t received any further communication since then, despite sending several reminder emails.
I fully understand that the process can take time, but it has now been several months without any update, which is quite frustrating. I must admit I expected a more responsive process from the IET, given the level of professionalism the Fellowship represents.
Could anyone from the Fellowship team or members who have gone through this process share insights into the typical timeline for interview scheduling? It would also be helpful to know if there are known delays or a more effective way to follow up.
I genuinely value the IET and the recognition that Fellowship brings, but the lack of communication makes it difficult to stay confident in the process.
