I joined the IET (IEE) in 1987 and have worked mainly in machine control system design and manufacture. I'm now a Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham researching Process Management in the NHS. In case your wondering - there's not a lot of Process Management done in the NHS. I first got involved with Quality Management in the days fo BS5750 (now ISO9001) and the requirement for Process Management as applied to design and manufacture including software design and test. My interests now are the design and implementation of good Process Management Systems that meet the requirements of ISO9001 and TickIT. I'm a DW paddler.
