    I have recently joined the IET after many years with the IOM3. I have a materials engineering background and worked as a metallurgist, both here at Siemens and in various Aerospace companies, specialising in forgings and titanium alloys.

    I am currently working in the Manufacturing projects team in the New Unit site at Lincoln for Siemens Energy. My latest project involves leading the development of turbine blades for our Aero derivative engines for Siemens Montreal/Warwick.

    I am passionate about manufacturing, sustainability and renewable energy. I also feel strongly about diversity and inclusion, whilst always selecting the right person for the role based upon skills.
