At the moment I'm contracted to Perkins Engines (Caterpillar / CAT Electronics) working on engine control systems. I'm specifically interested in and working on:
NOx and particulate chemistry & physics to inform model based engine control strategies.
Signal processing and statistical methods for engine instrumentation data analysis.
FMEA for engine safety & regulatory compliance.
Software engineering for robust real-time embedded control.
I'm startting to re-engage with the IET and I'm attending a PRA training course in London on 11th April 2018. So hopefully I can start to be of some use to other people!
