One of the issues is that it would be nice if the IEE commented on individual cases in direct communication. Last time I spoke to the membership department, I asked on three occasions how long it might take & got no reply - not even "don't know"; the question was just ignored.
So I asked here so that maybe someone could tell me *any* information - however sent - as to what's happening. One of the issues seems to be that the membership department is in the throes of moving from Savoy Place to Stevenage. Surely that wasn't imperative at the busiest time in that department's history?

Yes, I did. However, I would be better inclined to the IEE if the Chief Executive understood correct English grammar - "how this will effect your membership" ...! Or is this trying to be clever as, being only AMIEE, I wasn't a member before the changes?
