ARE CENG AND IENG EQUAL IN STATUS

Can we say that the CEng and IEng be considered equal titles in professional status or IEng is inferior than CEng.

As the Application Form for both CEng and IEng is same.

Daniel, I'm not an expert, Most associate degrees I've seen are around 60 semester hours in USA while typical bachelors degree is 120 semester hours. The Associate degrees in USA recognized by Dublin accord.  Bachelors degree in Engineering Technology accredited by ABET TAC is recognized by Sydney Accord.

Majority of Community Colleges in USA are a 2 year colleges that allow students to continue in to two final years transfer to university for a 4 year bachelors degree.

I did see some Associate degrees that were above 60 credits.

For example Kent State Associate Degree in Engineering Technology is 70 semester Credit hours.

    provostdata.kent.edu/.../REAASEEETEETG.pdf  - example of 4 semesters (2years) programme.

I think the best approach is comparing the programmes, the classes etc.

So in order to be considered for Technologist in Canada I think a top up classes will be required.
