    Hello everyone,

My name is Jon Selby and I'm a medical device product design engineer.*

I am currently working for Renishaw Neuro Solutions, developing a neurological drug delivery device which facilitates neurologists in delivering accurate doses of pharmaceutical agents to precise targets in the brain.

I am involved and interested in medical device development, risk analysis, usability engineering, creation of instructions for use, development of training programme and the deployment of product to clinical trial sites.

My career started with an apprenticeship at Mira Showers where I received a fantastic foundation in all engineering disciplines including the related business functions. From there I studied mechanical engineering at university. I then returned to Mira Showers and worked on the development of various consumer and healthcare showering products.
I also spent some time working on precision metrology products within Renishaw core business.

    Nice to meet you all!
    Jon

    * This feels like the opening statement for a group therapy session - but I doubt there is a cure for being an engineer!!!
