Hi I am Tony Centeno. I currently work for Xi'an Jiaotong Liverpool University in Suzhou China as an associate professor but will soon be joining Glasgow University as a UESTC-Lecturer. I started my career as a RA at Bradford University working on RF applications of Superconductors before moving to Industry where I worked as a design engineer in the Filters and Antennas group at Matra Marconi Space before then joining the Electromagnetics Hazards and Protection Group at the Defense Evaluation and Research Agency.  I become one of the first lecturers at the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus when it opened in 2000 and apart from 1 year working for a small start up in Luton (Cryosystems, which is sadly no longer in business), I have remained in academia ever since. I have been a Senior Lecturer at London South Bank University, Research Fellow at Imperial College and an Associate Professor at University Technology Malaysia. My current interest is in applying computational electromagnetics to plasmonics for applications such as optical biosensors, solar hydrogen production and carbon reduction.
