  • I am Paul Davey, Chartered Engineer and long-time member of the IET.
I started my career as a microwave designer and spent 14 years with Hewlett Packard mainly working in their Test and Measurement business. Latterly I ran the application support group and my team provided tech support to customers making RF & Microwave measurements with our equipment. Subsequently I ran a number of successful technology businesses and am currently co-owner of a music tech business. We have just filed a patent for a device for the consumer market that operates in the 13GHz – 14GHz region and I’d be pleased to hear from anyone with experience of a low-cost engineering in or around that frequency range who might be able to help us.
