The earth connection tab in the busbar tap-off is connected via rivets to the lip which makes contact to the main earth [busbar outer body]. Is this considered acceptable.?
If it makes a good electrical and mechanical connection suitable for the maximum fault condition then probably yes, but a lot more detail would be needed to say definitively one way or the other.
