CEng application on Career Manager, Where is the A-E form?

So, complete details, emploment history, insert training and CPD, alloacte CPD for further development.

I have authored all my competency statements as many of colleague have but we cannot find the place in career manager online to insert them!

In the old days it was a word form you filled out and we all have typed out current A-E competencies and yet are no further in finding it a home online.

I am applying via the experience route and have been working on this for many years, so someone help, do I have to complete every little part of the forms and upload all evidence before I can actually start filling in the forms?

     HI Paul,

If you have 17 examples of competence evidence, you can add this to Career Manager under the "My Development" tab and add it to an application as a supporting document.  This is optional and not required as part of the process, but can allow you to show the competence development that you have done in a structured way.

There is information on both the competence assessment section and how to add this as a supporting document in our Career Manager quick guides which are available on the Career Manager Homepage.

You will still need to complete the required information on the application form, including a detailed Career history and there are guidance notes on how to do this within Career Manager (it should focus on your personal accomplishments and job role rather than just a list of responsibilities for each role).

I hope this answers your question.  If you have any further queries, do not hesitate to contact us at: career-manager@theiet.org.
