Electrical Power MSc UK

I am considering picking up my Academic Studies again by starting an MSc in Electrical Power (Systems) Engineering part time, having graduated in 1999.

Does anyone have any experience/opinion of the various Electrical Power MSc’s offered around the country, more specifically in the North of England (Manchester/Newcastle) and Scotland (Glasgow/Edinburgh).

All thoughts welcome

Kind Regards

Alan

  • Graduated in 1999 are you sure you want to continue down the electrical path? Having a technical MSc may not gain you any further relevant knowledge to your field. As you head up the ladder within your company certainly from my experience it jumps over from technical to commercial/management and therefore you may want to consider a Management MSc/MA/MBA.  I cannot take time of work to go back to Uni and therefore am currently in distance learning with Brunel Uni. MSc Engineering Management. I too am electrical basis.

    Good Luck!

  • Alan,

You may consider Engineering MSc Electrical Power Systems via distance learning by University of Manchester.
