Water Treatment Plants / Water Works "Earthing & Bonding"

Hi Folks

Can anyone advise if there is any specific requirements "Earthing & Bonding" within water treatment plants / Water works etc


​This relates most to the earthing of the plant walkways etc around the site not so much the individual circuits.


​Can any one recommend any design liturature that would cover this element?

    Good starting points would be : -BS 5958-1:1991
    Code of practice for control of undesirable static electricity. General considerations
    BS 7430:2011+A1:2015 
    Code of practice for protective earthing of electrical installations

    and perhaps BS EN 62305 -Lightning protection


    The first two cover most eventualities.
