The purpose of the question was to seek whether anyone has used infrared condition information of connections and compared to loss of electrical performance resulting in cost benefit analysis. I’m particularly interested in the third world where connections are generally quite bad and load shedding is common. It seems that there is nothing out there and whether we should explore at the University.
