Energy Meter Reading

I had been asked on how the reading of the above meter is to be read. There is  Xp=100 on the name plate. CT ratio is according to name plate.


Do we read the meter directly or muiltply the reading with 100?

  • I think Xp and Xs are the respective impedances of the CT.


    You can be sure that the number displayed is the number they shall use for your bill.
