Only Ties?

Hello,

Set off to the Rohde & Schwarz Demystifying EMC event this morning. Upon arrival at the Silverstone car park, I proceeded to get my IET tie out and promptly put it back in my bag after realizing I was not wearing a post Christmas shirt and the collar was a bit too tight to be kept fastened. That got me thinking along the lines of what else could be made available to fly the IET membership flag ..... and then it came to me, enamel lapel badges!

So how about adding them alongside ties?

Regards,

Jon

P.S. The Rohde & Schwarz event was very good!

  • Hi Lisa,

You were right the first time, it is the Library! But no, as far as they know they don't have Member's badges any more, but they do definitely have Fellow's badges.

They're going to try to find out whether there are Members badges lurking anywhere and let me know - so if I hear any more I'll spread the word!

Of course, it's still worth going to the Faraday Centre for the nice lunch and to get out of the pouring rain - which might be why it's pretty packed in here today...

In the meantime I'll wait another 30 years until I'm 87 smiley

    Cheers,

    Andy
