  • Excuse the typo in previous post I meant PEI “Professional Engineering Institution”.  

    Arjuna , CABE is affiliated to Engineering Council .  https://www.engc.org.uk/news/press-releases/pr2017/promoting-professional-registration/  and offers its own “Chartered Building Engineer” recognition which is not aligned to UK-SPEC CEng. Although Engineering Council affiliation offers no guarantee of a body’s financial stability, it offers at least some reassurance about recognition.  

    I don’t know if the address is just coincidence , but someone will. I only posted to share what I had been told by a reputable source. I’m sorry if Yung or anyone else has suffered any loss.
