Filling CEng application for abroad-members

Hi Guys,

I am filling CEng application now and have couple questions about it. I have patent, publications and always participating in scientific conferences in my country, but English isn't my native language and all my studies in Russian. Is it still relevant for application or I should translate all of them? Most part of links in Russian too. Please, tell me how to act in this case.

Kind Regards,

Ekaterina

Up, wondering the benefits of CEng, is it helpful for doing business in UK or just a honorable title?

In my opinion, it's both, when engineers work on domestic or international projects, especially in the UK and European projects CEng as a benchmark is a strong addition to the portfolio of the consultants that can also provide some leverage against the competition.

In general, CEng comes with an international brand recognition and a benchmark.

I noticed that even in countries with their own licensing systems of PE's, the CEng is respected even if not formally accepted due to local laws and regulations, Employers and managers who know what it means or in a few minutes can find out what it is can appreciate it, its additional seal of approval and confidence in a professional who is professionally competent through education, training, and professional practice.

Sure, I understand that. But if there can be a more practical and applicable way, e.g. can National Grid UK collaborate with IET for some specific projects?
