As most you are probably aware, as a member of the IET (particularly if you are seeking qualified engineering status) we all need to be doing CPD (professional development) & a record demonstrating at minimum of 30 hours a year (nearly put per month by accident!). This becomes even more relevant of those of us working in Queensland (and soon Victroia) as we will also need to be formally registered.
I’ve recently been receiving a number of emails from the IET offering online e-training courses to help build that CPD record, which are easier to attend remotely. However the timings of these courses appear to be at anti-social times for us here in Australia (e.g. 2:30 am – 3:30am in the morning).
Does anyone know how, as engineers we can get access to some of these course during the AEDT daytime zone or if there are alternative sources for CPD training that can be used in out IET records?
