IET Mentor

I am considering applying to be an IET Mentor and would be interested in hearing any feedback from those who are, or have been mentors.

Has it been a worthwhile experience?

How good is the training/support available? 

Any advice?

    I signed up to be a mentor earlier in the year.

    Would recommend the Mentor training course run by the IET, its a good starting point and shows what resources are avaialbe from the IET.


    I hadn't realised there was a Mentors only discusison area (although I think I remember seeing some emails about moving to Office 365 but they looked like spam/phishing).

    So far I have no mentees and there is no way of knowing if I am visible to people searching for a mentor in my area.


    But certainly sign up for it.
