TIPS2019 Student Bursaries

ISPO UK MS is committed to encouraging student participation at its events through the provision of student bursaries.   With generous sponsorship provided by Coapt three bursaries are now available to attend the TIPS 2019 sessions at the upcoming TIPS/ISPO/BACPAR 2019 conference at the fabulous Lowry theatre, in Manchester.  The bursary will cover the cost of student conference registration on Wednesday 20, Thursday 21 and Friday 22 March 2019 plus TIPS Conference Dinner on Thursday 21 March 2019. 

The overarching theme of this conference is Moving beyond the lab and the programme will comprise a series of keynote and guest lectures, free paper presentations, poster exhibition and workshops.  TIPS/ISPO/BACPAR 2019 promises to be a truly inspirational event for all disciplines involved in rehabilitation medicine, research, practice, prosthetics, orthotics, engineering, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, neuroscience, assistive devices and technologies.  Full details, including conference programme, can be viewed online at www.trentprosthetics.com and www.ispo.org.uk/.../

Criteria for Application for TIPS2019 Student Bursary
Applicants must be students currently registered on an accredited undergraduate or postgraduate degree course relating to the fields of prosthetics and orthotics.  Please note that this opportunity is open to students from any country.

Application process
Written applications or no more than 250 words should be forwarded by e-mail to   info@ispo.org.uk  and should address the question:

"Why I would benefit from attending the TIPS/ISPO/BACPAR conference?" 

The application should be accompanied by a 50-100 word endorsement from one of their course tutors or supervisors.

Successful applicants will be expected to submit a written report of approximately 500 words to ISPO UK (including images) of their experience at TIPS/ISPO/BACPAR 2019, for publication in the ISPO UK e-bulletin and website post event.

The closing date for student bursary applications is Friday 8th February 2019.
