Crossrail Signalling

the author states:

" The main problem has been integrating three separate train signalling systems. "

In many places the complexity of the signalling systems on crossrail is being blamed for the long delay in introducing the new Elizabeth Line services. I'm surprised there hasn't been more comment here about this. It seems to me that other things have caused the delay but not being involved I can't be sure. Can anyone comment and shed light on the state of the signalling?

indefinitely due to problems with signalling testing.

The Government has spent all the money propping up the Brexit negotiations so that the four donkeys of the apocolypse can ride again ... perhaps they should try Weston Super mare.

Being serious though, I think the real reason is that there is no money left in the pot to continue........

This implies that the problems that were reported in the tunnels using GW-ATP and ETCS together are going to be solved by putting both Heathrow Express and Crossrail on ETCS and getting rid of the GW-ATP. What do you think?
