Difference between Duration (Hours) and CPD hours

Hello All


I am filling out the form for my intent to register for a CEng


Under the training section you are asked to enter the Duration (hours) and CPD hours for each training course that you undertake


Does anyone know what the difference is between Duration (hours) and CPD hours

    I see, so the Duration is the time in which you do everyday tasks, but the CPD hours is the time in which you learnt new things that contribute towards you career development
