Here's how climate change could cause insects to destroy our crops. We might have underestimated the loss of crops to insects, as the climate warms.

Recent models tell us that, as our climate warms up, herbivores and pests will cause increased damage to agricultural crops. One study predicted that crop yield lost to insects increases 10 to 25% for every 1 degree Celsius (1.8 degrees Fahrenheit) increase.

    A very good answer! I would agree with you but the final remedy to this global disaster is up only to us and not to the "haven" : We are the only responsible of this tragedy and WE must solve it by ourselves!

    An old Italian proverb reads: " Chi è causa del suo mal pianga se stesso" ! And the equivalent one in English is:" as you make your bed so you must lie in it" !

    Please read ' bed' in lieu of 'bad' in my previous post: spelling error. Sorry-
