Innovate-UK is keen to ensure that the message reaches both SME Manufacturers as well as digital Technology Developers and in the last week has increased the funding available to £20million
"Our Manufacturing Digital Supply Chain call will bring together both small and larger manufacturers, as well as technology business and the research community to create innovative solutions for digital supply chains.
By adopting new digital technologies within manufacturing supply chains, it can result in a more efficient supply chain, enabling business to boost productivity and expand into new markets. Funding is available up to £1.5m for business-led consortia.
Projects can aim to improve and optimise existing supply chains, redesign or re-engineer existing supply chains, or design new supply chains for new products or processes."
