    I think this qualifies (music shop/repairshop): -

    Customer: "I was wondering if you could make me up a guitar cable"

    Technician: "Certainly sir, how long would you like it?"

    Pause....

    Customer: "I was rather hoping I might be able to keep it"

    Technician falls off his stool.
