Mornin' All, there is a very strong easterly wind coming off the sea today. It could be a gale force 8 or 9. I fear some wind turbine damage may occur in the offshore wind farms or my flat's roof may blow off.
Anyway, I remembered that some years ago an article about the longest surviving working Sangamo time switch was published. Readers wrote in and gave details. Some of the Sangamo timers ran for many decades.
