Any Forensic Scientists?

Hi all, I'd like to query this esteemed resource of scientists and various experts, concerning this article:

https://successfulstudent.org/best-online-masters-in-forensic-science-degree-programs/

This is a ranking of the best online master's in Forensic Science. Has anyone received a master's in Forensic Science? It would be especially helpful to know which program was attended, and it would be helpful to know if this list is missing any pertinent colleges. This ranking is designed to help students make informed college decisions.

Thanks,

Jake
  • It seems to be a US centric list.  Are their qualifications recognised in any other countries ?

Certainly in the UK to become what the US would be called a CSI officer you need to complete an approved course of training  here, which may be be in addition to or instead of an accredited degree in Forensic Science from a University (as far as I know only UK and EU uiversities have the necessary accreditation, but I may be out of date ). There are direct entry routes for folk who only have GCSEs and A levels, but these involve completing a degree-equivalent course set by the College of Policing - I fear  an on-line US course may not be recognised, so that would be the first thing for any prospective candidate to check before starting.
