Copy of BS EN 61439 - Low Power Switchgear & Controlgear Assemblies

I am looking to obtain a copy of BS EN 61439. As I work for a government controlled company I was hoping to get it free of charge ?

    Anyone offering you a copy will be breaching copyright law, unless you have a subscription you're going to have to pay for it.  Sorry!

    If you have an Athens login (if that still exists) you can get to view it. As Rob says everyone else pays or breaks a lot of rules. The latest version is quite hefty - I recommend the printed version for corporate use as the pdf version has all sorts of digital restrictions. The printed version will definitely remain available for decades if looked after, the digital one I'm not so sure.

    I think you will have to get the company to pay for the British Standard. However, you can gleen a certain amount of knowledge from other Company's interpretation of the regs.
