Community badge names - your help needed!

Hi everyone! The community team are looking at introducing a badge to recognise community members who've made helpful contributions in the community. We've tried out a LOT of names for the badge but none of them really hit the mark - and at this point everything sounds odd. We've looked at things like: 

  • Educator
  • Mastermind
  • Megamind
  • Sage
  • Know-it-all

Do any of these strike a chord with you? Any other suggestions? If you prefer you are welcome to send me a private message with your suggestions - I'd love to hear from all community members who have suggestions, including those who prefer reading to posting.

    This community seems to have a pretty small number of active members, and a pretty small number of daily posts. Is it growing? 

    It's also very awkward to post from my phone, although easy enough to read. Perhaps I'm missing something there? Is there an app? Would I use it? 

    Seem to me more important issues than issuing gold starts, worthwhile though it may be. 

    The community is always growing. At the moment around 400 new community members join every month and many thousands more visit and read the contributions here. Many members prefer to read rather than contribute and that's fine, but we've also had feedback that newer community members feel apprehensive about posting. Some of our work behind the scenes is about making the community as welcoming as possible, which these badges play into. 

    I know posting from a phone isn't the best experience at present. We're working on something to make that easier in future - watch this space :)
