There is still time to vote for your top 3 names - http://bit.ly/1IpAx8g

Members have been given the opportunity to choose up to three room names in Savoy Place.

Heritage room names including Faraday and Siemens and Lovelace will remain ...but an exciting opportunity has arisen to give others their place.

After much thought a shortlist has been drawn up of 25 distinguished men and women, with an engineering or technology background, and all with notable achievements.

Whilst it has not been possible to include more we hope you find this list represents our focus on being a multidisciplinary organisation.

Please let us know your preferences by 31 January 2015, when the results will be taken forward by the Project Team.

Thank you for posting this Jo, I wouldnt have known about it otherwise!

I was delighted to be able to vote for Beatrice Shilling. A (male) work collegue of mine lent me a biography of her called 'Negative Gravity' which was a really inspiring read. I recomend it to other female engineers!
