I have just posted a list of plaques that exist to commemorate engineers and engineering events.
The History of Technology TPN is looking to build on this list.
I have two requests, first if you know of any other plaques, anywhere in the world please let me know so they can be added to the list. Secondly any thoughts you have on a schme.
Our brief is the scheme would be world wide, operated by volunteers.
Our initial thoughts are to start with a virtual plaque scheme. In the UK where we know have guidance on real plaques they can take up to 3 years to get permission. Outside UK is unknown.
