The IET is looking for a number of female role models to be interviewed and featured on the IET website and the ''My Community'' page.
We want to highlight the success of other women and girls from industry and academia to serve as a means of inspiration to others.
Success is not just about achieving the goals that you set for yourself; it’s also about having the power to positively influence others.
Studies show that women, in particular, benefit from reading about the accomplishments of other women.
Your story will go on to encourage other women / girls in industry and academia, globally.
If you can talk about a challenge that you overcame, your achievements, what you have learned, your plans for the future, why you think it’s important for women to be supported in a STEM field, barriers that you may have faced, your route into industry or academia and anything else that may be relevant, we would be delighted to hear from you!
