I live and work in Derbyshire in the UK. I have been in the aerospace industry for almost 13 years years now, but am not yet chartered (something that I'm hoping to rectify this year!). Although I enjoy my work and gain satisfaction from doing well and progressing in my career, having 3 young children makes the work-life balance a constant struggle: when I'm at home I feel like there something I should be doing at work, and when I'm at work I feel I should be at home with the kids! My employers are very supportive regarding part-time and flexible working hours, but it never takes away the internal struggle that I find plagues many women.
Would be happy to meet up with any local members :-)
